Ishtar Bound, A book of Sinnis, Book 1

 Natalie Gibson

3 Stars

To be honest I have mixed feeling about Ishtar Bound by Natalie Gibson.

I had an extremely hard time sticking with it, but not because it was a bad book but because I was confused.

I understand the mother earth and the daughters possessing different forms of witch craft.  The part that was throwing me off so badly was the titles given to their ranking among the coven.  I couldn’t keep it straight nor could I figure out which title was superior to the next.  Part of it was because the names were so close and the other part was because I couldn’t pronounce them to save me life.

I think something like a “family tree” would helped keep it straight, a picture would have worked.  That is why the dropped stars.

With that said the book over all was great.  Love saves all and everyone has a match either in this world or the next, plus the mystical aspect. I will read the next book because I am intrigued enough by this book and the blurb at the end of the second book.

Ishtar Bound, Paranormal Romance / Urban Fantasy (Book 1 of Sinnis) was given to me to review.
