I started Forbidden Touch by K.S. Haigwood yesterday morning and finished it by bed time, well.. actually past my bed time but I could not put this book down for fear I will miss something.
Forbidden Touch is one of the few books, to date, I have read that grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Most books start with character description, location description, and background before getting to the nitty-gritty of what is going on.
Forbidden Touch kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next between all the characters. The author did very well on implementing the descriptions into the story plot so there was no wasted time getting to know the characters exclusively. Without giving away to much of the ending, I suggest a box of tissues and many hours of alone time because you will not put this book down. It left me with a sense of loss and triumph and I will keep an eye out for a followup book.
I was given Forbidden Touch for a review.
