Safe Word by Teresa Mummert was awesome! There is a lot that goes into that word for me to use it in a review.
It was sexy (beyond words), intense, sad, mysterious, and happy. I giggled, I gasped, I experience sadness, and I was so happy I almost cried … so much so that I had to fight with myself to slow down, as I did not want to miss what was coming next.
As much as I enjoyed this book, I am having a hard time writing a review. I do not want to say anything that could inevitably give away something in the story, even though it would be witty and awesome with my writing skills. However, I will say this … this book had an excellent premise that keeps you wanting to know how and why ANYONE would behave that way.
If you want to be on the edge of your seat and immersed the entire time you are reading a story that is hot, and has more twists then the Mississippi River … then pick up this book.
The writing, storyline and characters are wonderful, however, due to how this book was advertised and over-hyped as a Erotica/BDSM, which it is not, I feel it’s star rating should reflect the book as a whole, and not based on only it’s storyline and cover. For those seeking erotica, this book will disappoint you.
I bought Safe Word. I had it pre-ordered from seeing snips on Facebook. It is my opinion that this book is over price. Even though, I generally avoid talking about the cost of the book, having purchased this book, I feel I have the right to express my honest opinion.
